Burnout 3: Takedown is an arcade racer where ramming opponents is rewarded. Driving into oncoming lanes, drifting and passing close to traffic fills your boost, and boost can be chained without interruption while you keep taking risks. Shunting rivals into walls or traffic earns Takedowns, knocking them out of the race and increasing the amount of boost you can hold. The World Tour ties together standard races, Road Rage events focused entirely on wrecking rivals, and Burning Lap time trials, with cars unlocked as you advance. Crash mode places you at busy intersections with the aim of causing the largest pile-up, and the Crashbreaker lets you explode your stopped car to spread the wreckage. Collisions play out in slow motion with camera control during the impact. This is the Xbox version.
