Crush is a puzzle-platform game built around switching between three dimensions and two. You play Danny, an insomniac exploring the landscape of his own mind, and at any point you can "crush" the 3D level along the current camera angle to flatten it into a 2D plane. Gaps become floors, distant platforms line up next to each other, and objects that were far apart snap together, so lining up the camera before crushing is the core of every puzzle. Unfolding back into 3D lets you reposition and try a different angle. Each stage asks you to collect a set number of items and reach the exit, with hazards, switches, movable blocks and enemies complicating the geometry. Presentation uses a stylised, dreamlike art design themed around Danny's memories and anxieties.
