Pinobee is a platformer starring a small mechanical bee. You run and jump through side-scrolling stages, using the bee's flight and hovering abilities to reach higher ledges and cross gaps, and a forward dash attack to deal with enemies and break obstacles. Levels are built around collecting items and finding routes through hazards, with the flight moves limited so that you have to time them rather than fly freely. The art style is bright and cartoon-like, with an insect-and-machinery theme running through the environments and enemies. Play is single-player, and progress moves from stage to stage as you clear each area. Versions of Pinobee appeared on more than one system.
