Point Blank 3 is another entry in Namco's light gun series for PlayStation, keeping the format of many short shooting challenges rather than one long campaign. Stages ask you to clear targets against the clock, avoid shooting the wrong objects, react quickly to sudden appearances, and solve simple visual puzzles by picking the correct target. Mini-games are sorted by difficulty so you can choose how demanding a run to attempt, and scores are tracked as you play. The game works with a light gun peripheral and can also be played using a standard controller. Multiplayer modes let two players compete on the same challenges. Because each round lasts only moments, the game suits short sessions and repeated attempts at improving your accuracy and score.
