Puzznic is a single-screen block puzzle game originally from the arcades. Each stage presents a small playfield holding blocks marked with symbols, and you move a cursor to push blocks left and right along the surfaces they rest on. Matching blocks vanish when they touch, and gravity pulls unsupported blocks downward, so the order you clear pairs in matters. Stages are built around fixed layouts with walls, ledges and moving platforms, and clearing every block is the goal. Because a wrong push can leave an odd block stranded with no partner, the game leans on planning rather than reflexes, though a timer keeps pressure on. This PlayStation release brings the puzzle format to Sony's disc-based console.
