Snood is a handheld version of the puzzle game that began on home computers. You aim and launch small cartoon-faced pieces called Snoods from the bottom of the screen toward a cluster hanging above; grouping three or more matching Snoods together clears them, and any pieces left unsupported drop away as well. The board presses downward as you play, so slow or inaccurate shots gradually reduce your working space until the pile reaches the bottom line. Aiming involves bouncing shots off the side walls to reach awkward gaps, and clearing large groups in one move is worth more points. The Game Boy Advance release includes different play modes and difficulty settings, making it suited to short sessions as well as longer high-score attempts.
