Instead of narrow circuits, events unfold across large open terrain, so you can pick your own line across hills, water, mud and rough ground rather than following a fixed ribbon of road. Suspension travel and weight matter here: vehicles pitch and roll over uneven ground, and landings from jumps can cost you speed or control. You race against rival drivers across a selection of outdoor environments, working toward new vehicles as you progress. Controls are arcade-leaning rather than simulation-focused, favouring momentum and recovery over precise braking points. On Xbox it supports multiplayer racing for competing head to head.
