Tetris Worlds on Xbox combines traditional Tetris with several alternate rulesets. In addition to the standard game, modes ask you to build squares out of placed blocks, let cleared rows cascade so surviving pieces fall and chain further clears, tie clearing to color-matched sticky pieces, or award points only on designated lines. The controls and tetromino set stay the same throughout, so each variant is about rethinking how you stack rather than learning new inputs. A science-fiction presentation frames the modes as different planets, and multiplayer lets several players compete on one console. Goals are structured around reaching line and level targets within each mode, giving the single-player side a sense of progression beyond an endless score chase.
