The Urbz: Sims in the City brings the life-simulation series into an urban setting. On Xbox, the game takes a more directed, mission-based approach than the PC entries: you create a character and work your way through distinct city districts, each with its own look, residents and social rules. Building your reputation is the core goal, and you do that by taking on jobs, completing tasks for locals, and learning what each neighborhood expects of you. You still manage basic Sim needs like hunger, energy and hygiene while decorating your own space with furniture and gear you unlock. Minigame-style job sequences handle the work portion, and conversations with other characters use the series' familiar gibberish speech and mood icons.
