Vexx on the Xbox is a 3D platformer in which you play a small clawed creature equipped with heavy gauntlets known as war talons. Those talons serve as both weapon and traversal tool, letting you strike enemies, grab surfaces and pull yourself through the environment. The structure follows the collect-and-explore template: you enter large themed worlds from a hub, seek out hidden tokens earned through platforming challenges, timed trials, combat encounters and boss fights, and use them to unlock access to later areas. The moveset is acrobatic, covering wall running, ledge grabs and attack combinations, and the free camera lets you line up jumps. World designs shift between bright outdoor settings and harsher, darker locations, each introducing new hazards and enemies. Progress is largely nonlinear within each world.
