This is the original Xbox version of World Championship Pool 2004, a billiards simulation played from behind the cue ball. Each shot involves choosing an angle, placing the cue tip to apply top, bottom or side spin, and setting the strength of the strike. The physics model handles how balls rebound off cushions and transfer momentum in clusters, so position play matters as much as potting. Several pool disciplines are included, and you can play against computer opponents or a second player sharing the console. Tournament progression pits you against a run of opponents, while individual matches let you practise specific setups. Camera views can be switched between an overhead look at the whole table and a low angle behind the cue for judging thin cuts and long pots.
