Pokemon Pinball is a pinball game for Game Boy Color built around catching and hatching Pokemon. You play on a table that can be switched between a Red field and a Blue field, each with its own layout and encounter list. In Catch Mode you hit targets to open an encounter, then strike the Pokemon with the ball enough times to add it to the Pokedex; Egg Mode has you hatch Pokemon instead. Bonus stages and evolution modes let you raise what you have caught, and hitting the right targets travels between areas to change which Pokemon appear. The cartridge includes a built-in rumble feature that can be switched off, and standard pinball scoring, ball saves and multipliers underpin all of it.
