Power Stone is a 3D arena fighting game for the Dreamcast. Instead of trading blows on a flat plane, you run freely around fully three-dimensional stages, climbing on scenery, throwing furniture and picking up weapons that appear during the match. Fighters are drawn in a cartoon adventure style and each has a home stage tied to their character. The hook is the Power Stones themselves: collect three of them and your fighter transforms into a more powerful form with new attacks for a limited time, which can swing a losing round quickly. Matches are one-on-one, either against the computer or a second player, and rounds are short and chaotic by design.
