WWF Super WrestleMania is a wrestling game for the Sega Genesis based on the World Wrestling Federation license. You choose from a roster of WWF wrestlers of the era and fight in a side-on view of the ring, using punches, kicks, running attacks and grapples that lead into throws and slams. Each wrestler has a signature finishing move to end matches once an opponent has been worn down. Bouts are decided by pinfall or countout, and you can leave the ring to continue the brawl before the referee's count runs out. Modes cover singles and tag team matches, with options for playing against the computer or a second player. Presentation is straightforward, with digitized wrestler likenesses and simple crowd and arena backdrops.
