Bomberman Online brings the series' grid-based battles to Dreamcast with support for internet play through the console's modem. The core rules are unchanged: players start in an arena filled with soft blocks, drop bombs to clear paths and uncover power-ups that boost blast range, bomb count and movement speed, then use those advantages to trap opponents in explosions. Matches are short and chaotic, with the last player standing taking the round. Alongside the standard battle rules, the game includes alternative modes that change the objective rather than simply eliminating rivals, and local multiplayer is supported for players in the same room. Presentation is clean and colourful, with an overhead view that keeps the whole arena visible so you can track bomb timers and escape routes.
