Ready 2 Rumble Boxing is an arcade-style boxing game for the Dreamcast. You select from a cast of exaggerated, cartoonish fighters and box in the ring using punches to the head and body, with blocking and dodging to weather incoming combinations. Connecting cleanly and taunting builds the Rumble meter; when it fills, you can launch a barrage of oversized special punches that often decides the round. Fights resolve by knockout, count-out or decision, and the pace is fast rather than simulation-minded. A career-style mode has you training a boxer's attributes between fights and climbing through opponents, unlocking more of the roster. Two players can face off locally. The Dreamcast version showcases the game's colourful character models, ring entrances and announcer commentary.
