Sonic Shuffle is a digital board game for the Sega Dreamcast. Up to four players take turns moving around themed boards, and movement is decided by cards rather than dice: each player holds a hand of numbered cards and plays one to determine how far to travel, which brings an element of planning and bluffing to the order of turns. Landing on spaces triggers events, and encounters with other players or enemies lead to minigames and card duels. The goal on each board is to gather Precioustone pieces, which appear as players reach particular spaces. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy are among the playable characters, and computer opponents can fill empty slots for solo play.
