College Football USA 96 is an American college football game for the Sega Genesis, part of EA Sports' output for the system. It uses a scaling behind-the-offense view, with playbooks for running, passing, kicking and defence selected before each snap. You pick from a large roster of college programmes, each with its own colours and stadium presentation, and play exhibition games or work through a season toward bowl games and a national title. Options let you adjust quarter length, weather and difficulty, and stat tracking follows performance across a season. Controls cover passing to receiver icons, jukes and spins on the run, and diving tackles or interception attempts on defence. Two players can compete head to head or, in some setups, play cooperatively against the computer.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
