Bubble and Squeak is a side-scrolling platform game for the Sega Genesis starring a boy, Bubble, and his rabbit companion, Squeak. You control the pair together, with the rabbit following along and able to be used as part of solving the way forward, so levels involve keeping both characters in mind rather than just running and jumping. Stages are made up of platforms, hazards and enemies, with weapons and items to collect as you explore for the route onward. The presentation is bright and cartoon-styled, and the game mixes standard platforming movement with shooting at the creatures that block your path. Progress is a matter of learning each area's layout and timing your jumps and attacks accordingly.
