Paperboy 2 for the Sega Genesis continues the newspaper delivery series. You ride a bicycle down a suburban street shown from an angled overhead perspective, throwing papers at the homes of your subscribers while dodging traffic, pedestrians, animals and obstacles. The sequel places subscribers on both sides of the road, so you have to aim in both directions as you keep moving. Accurate deliveries onto porches and into mailboxes score points, and so does breaking windows and knocking over property at houses that are not on your route. Collisions cost lives, and papers you fail to deliver cause customers to cancel, leaving a shorter route the next day. Each day's ride ends with a timed obstacle course, and the hazards multiply as the week goes on.
