PGA Tour Golf 3 is a golf simulation for the Sega Genesis. You play rounds on licensed courses using a three-click swing meter to set power and accuracy, then adjust your stance, club selection and aim to account for wind, lie and green contours. A flyover or overhead map helps you plan each hole before you tee off, and a putting grid shows the slope around the cup. Modes include practice play, tournament competition against a field of computer-controlled golfers, and multiplayer for friends taking turns on the same console. Statistics tracking follows your scores hole by hole and round by round. The presentation leans on television-style coverage, with commentary text, leaderboards and cut-in views of the course as play moves along.
