ACME All-Stars puts the Tiny Toons cast into arcade-style sports competitions on the Sega Genesis. You pick from characters such as Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Plucky Duck and Dizzy Devil and play cartoon takes on team sports, including soccer and basketball, along with foot-race style events. Rules are loose by design: characters shove, trip and use exaggerated cartoon moves rather than playing by strict regulations, and each character handles a little differently in speed and power. Matches are short and score-driven, and the presentation leans on bright sprite work and animations drawn from the animated series. The game supports single-player play against the computer as well as head-to-head play with a second controller, making it a pick-up-and-play title aimed at short sessions.
