Virtual Bart is a Simpsons game in which Bart is strapped into a virtual reality machine at the school science fair. A spinning wheel selects which scenario you enter, and each one is a separate self-contained stage with its own style of play. Bart is transformed for these segments, taking on forms such as a pig and a baby, with other stages placing him in prehistoric and post-apocalyptic settings. Some are side-scrolling platform levels, while others use different perspectives and control schemes, so the game moves between play styles rather than sticking to one. Graphics and audio draw on the television show's cast and settings. Progress is made by clearing each scenario the wheel lands on until all have been completed.
